TEMSA at the RESQTOOL 2025 Annual Meeting

  |   Uncategorized

TEMSA, together with our CEO Xavier Collell, attends once again the annual meeting of the RESQTOOL Horizon Europe project, a project that brings together various companies from the metallurgical sector across Europe. This year, the event took place at the Tecnum School of Engineering in Donostia, San Sebastián.

The RESQTOOL project aims to develop innovative technologies that allow the efficient recovery of essential metals such as cobalt (Co) and titanium (Ti), reducing the carbon footprint of the zinc recovery process, and developing advanced hydrometallurgical and powder metallurgy recycling based on bioderived chemicals from agro-industrial waste.

During the meeting, progress was presented on new recycling processes that increase the purity of recovered materials, which is key for their reuse in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and energy. Additionally, a follow-up was made on how these recycling strategies have been implemented in the various companies participating in the project.
