TEMSA another year at the RESQTOOL meeting
Last week, our CEO Xavier Collell attended the annual RESQTOOL Horizon Europe meeting held in Donosti, San Sebastian. This project involves several European companies in the metallurgy sector, aiming to find recycling solutions for raw materials such as Cobalt (Co), Tantalum (Ta), Titanium (Ti), among others.
The main objective of the meeting was to evaluate the progress achieved in the RESQTOOL project, which seeks to design and optimize tools and manufacturing systems for these hard metals. During the meeting, significant advances in the research and development phases were presented, with a special emphasis on technological solutions for resource management.
The project aims to reduce the carbon footprint and energy consumption of the zinc recovery process and the development of advanced hydrometallurgical and solvometallurgical chemical recycling based on bio-derived chemicals from agro-industrial waste.
